You can add just about anything you like to granola, seeds, nuts, dried fruits, etc, but this combination is just what I need for some fall flavor.
3 Cups Old Fashioned Oats toasted @ 300 degrees for 15 minutes (stir often)
Mix together:
1/2 Cup Dry Milk
1 Cup Craisins
1/2 Cup Pomegranate Seeds
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Heat in a small saucepan till hot but not boiling:
1/2 Cup Canola Oil
1/2 Cup Maple Syrup or Honey
Combine oats, fruit mixture, and oil mixture. Spread thinly on a large baking sheet or jelly roll pan. Bake for 25-35 minutes, stirring often, until desired crispness is reached. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
Serve with vanilla yogurt, or eat is as is, or however you love to eat your granola most.
