Pomegranate Breakfast Bars

This is a variation of a Better Homes and Gardens recipe. They use Craisins, which tastes fabulous too.

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.
Mix with a pastry blender:
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Old Fashioned Oats (or Quick Cooking but not instant)
2/3 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Butter softened

Set 1/2 Cup aside. Press remaining mixture into a 9x9" pan.

1 Cup Applesauce
1 Cup Pomegranate Seeds
1/4 tsp Cinnamon

Spread Fruit filling over the crust. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over filling. Bake 30-35 minutes.
