Fig Pear and Cinnamon Ice Cream

My daughters call this "cookie dough" ice cream even though it tastes nothing like it. It's just right when you want something fruity with a bit of cinnamon.

1 package Figs washed and stemmed (approx. 8 oz)
2 brown pears peeled and cored
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Water

Cook in a pan until fruit is soft and juice is reddish. Press through a sieve. Mix Juice in a bowl with:

2 Cups Half and Half
1tsp Vanilla
1/4 Cup Honey
1/2-3/4 tsp Cinnamon (depending on how much cinnamon you want to taste).

Chill in fridge. Follow ice cream maker directions.
